Membership Terms & Conditions

Honeybee Cottage – Membership Terms & Conditions

These Membership Terms & Conditions apply to all Honeybee Cottage memberships and take effect from the date on which the first membership payment is received by Honeybee Cottage, superseding any previous versions.

1. General Membership Use

Memberships are for individual use only and are non-transferable.

Membership benefits may only be used by the named member.

Memberships cannot be shared, transferred, or resold.

2. Booking & Attendance

All classes included within a membership must be booked in advance unless stated otherwise.

Membership classes must be booked via the Membership Booking section of the booking system or in person at the shop.

Any class booked using membership entitlement will be deducted from the member’s weekly or monthly allowance where applicable.

3. Non-attendance & Late Cancellation

If a member fails to attend a class or cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice, the class will be counted as used.

The same cancellation policy applies to members and non-members.

4. Missed Classes, Carryover & Refunds

Membership fees are non-refundable once membership benefits have been accessed or used.

Classes included within a membership must be used within the relevant week or month and cannot be carried over.

Missed classes, late cancellations, or non-attendance will not be refunded, credited, or rescheduled.

5. Member Discounts

All members, including Social, Core, and Premium members, receive 10% off classes and workshops not included within their membership.

Members may book classes for other people; however, the member must also be attending the same class.

All members receive 10% off treatments, applicable only to treatments booked for themselves.

Discounts cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise.

6. Payments

Membership payments must be made by standing order or recurring card payment unless otherwise agreed in advance with management.

Payments are due on the agreed monthly payment date.

If a payment is missed, membership benefits may be temporarily suspended until payment is brought up to date.

If payment is not received within a reasonable period, Honeybee Cottage reserves the right to cancel the membership.

No refunds or backdated access will be provided for periods where payment has not been made.

7. Membership Term & Cancellation

Memberships run on a rolling monthly basis with a minimum commitment of one month.

Memberships may be cancelled with one month’s notice.

Cancellation requests must be made in writing by email or written communication. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.

8. Re-joining After Cancellation

Members who cancel their membership will not be eligible to re-join any membership tier for a period of six months from the cancellation date.

9. Pausing Memberships

Memberships cannot be paused.

Membership pricing and structure already take into account holidays, illness, and occasional non-attendance.

10. Changes to Classes & Schedule

Honeybee Cottage reserves the right to amend the class timetable including cancellations due to staff holidays, illness, or other operational reasons.

Members will be given at least 14 days’ notice where possible.

Where a class is cancelled by Honeybee Cottage, members will be offered the option to transfer to an alternative class subject to availability.

11. Fair Use Policy

This policy exists to ensure classes remain accessible and enjoyable for all members.

Memberships are intended for regular personal use.

Unlimited elements are based on reasonable and fair participation.

Honeybee Cottage reserves the right to review usage that falls significantly outside normal attendance patterns.

If a membership is cancelled during the 14-day cooling-off period, no refund will be issued for any membership benefits already used, including but not limited to:

    • classes attended
